Aid and Subsidies

By Decree of the Delegate Councilor for Economy and Finance dated August 25, 2022, the bases for subsidies for local athletes annuity 2022 were approved and on September 5 the extract of the call was published in the BOP Alicante.

Object and purpose:

1. The purpose of this call is to promote and encourage the participation of local athletes in federated competitions during the 2021/2022 season or 2022 year, which corresponds to the period from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022, and who have outstanding in the different championships organized by the corresponding federations.

2. The purpose of these bases is to promote the dedication that competitive sport requires, facilitate the permanence of athletes in local clubs, and assist in the training and preparation of Torrevieja athletes.

Registration deadline:

From September 6 to September 19 at the Electronic Headquarters with a digital certificate or at the Town Hall registry offices at Plaza de la Constitución 2 or at the Palacio de los Deportes offices.

The Local Government Board in a session held last Friday, August 12, 2022, approved the granting of a direct subsidy to the local NGO Alimentos Solidarios Torrevieja, as an exceptional compensation measure, for the care of hundreds of refugees from Ukraine.

The aid will mean an economic injection of 100,000 euros for the realization of social catering or preparation of menus cooked daily for packaged delivery to the families of Ukrainian refugees who have been welcomed in Torrevieja, as a result of the war produced in the aforementioned country.

The Councilor for NGOs and Volunteers of the Torrevieja City Council, Concha Sala, has valued very positively the granting of this important aid "which highlights the great solidarity of the city through its City Council that the mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, who has shown his special sensitivity to the group of refugees from Ukraine".

The mayor has recalled that, since the war broke out last February, the vast majority of Ukrainian citizens who have arrived in the city have been referred to be served by the Solidarity Food Torrevieja soup kitchen together with the rest of its beneficiaries.

The Hon. The Provincial Council of Alicante, in an ordinary session dated June 8, 2022, agreed to grant a subsidy to the Torrevieja City Council for the amount of 7,932.30 euros for the operation of the municipal school of rhythmic gymnastics according to the call for aid to City Councils for the realization of sports programs and operation of municipal sports schools published in the BOP Alicante number 46 of March 8, 2022

The resolution has been published in the BOP Alicante No. 114 of June 16, 2022.

The Hon. The Provincial Council of Alicante, through a plenary agreement dated July 20, 2022, agreed to grant a subsidy to the Torrevieja City Council for the amount of 162,855.25 euros for the maintenance of sports facilities, according to the call published in the Alicante BOP number 43, of 3 March 2022

The resolution has been published in the BOP Alicante No. 142 of July 28, 2022.

By resolution of the General Director of Employment and Training, dated June 16, 2022, it was agreed to GRANT TORREVIEJA CITY COUNCIL, with NIF P0313300F, a subsidy amounting to 275,508.80 euros, for temporary hiring (except for training contracts ) full-time for unemployed people under 30 years of age who are registered as job seekers in the Espais Labora de la Generalitat and as beneficiaries in the file of the National Youth Guarantee System, conditions that must be met at the time of hiring , within the framework of the Operational Program of the European Social Fund 2014-2020 of the Valencian Community.

The selection process will take place in the month of July 2022, and is scheduled to end on July 25, 2022, with the signing and publication of the FINAL SELECTION MINUTES.

By resolution of the General Director of Employment and Training, dated June 29, 2022, it was agreed to GRANT TORREVIEJA CITY COUNCIL, with NIF P0313300F, a subsidy amounting to 567,732.95 euros, for temporary hiring (except for training contracts ) full-time of unemployed people of at least 30 years of age by local entities of the Valencian Community ("Avalem experiència plus").

The selection process will take place in the month of July, culminating on the 28th of that month with the signing and publication of the FINAL SELECTION MINUTES.

The purpose of this call is to grant individualized aid aimed at collaborating in the payment of expenses derived from school transport for students of Second Cycle Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education, Initial Professional Qualification Programs, Baccalaureate, Basic Vocational Training and Specific Vocational Training, enrolled in public (or concerted) schools and institutes in the city of Torrevieja.

The aid will be granted for a maximum period of 10 months, between September 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.

The maximum individual amount of the aid will be 60 euros per month for those students who use school transport 2 daily trips, for a maximum period of ten months, between September 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.

The aid will be granted based on the economic level of the student's family, calculating the per capita income of the family unit, that is, the family income divided by the number of computable members of the family unit; and also taking into account the particularities of the family unit.

The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of the abstract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante.

The standardized application model (ANNEX I) and the rest of the annexes for obtaining the aid regulated in this call are available on the municipal website of the Torrevieja City Council: www.torrevieja.es (aid and subsidies). and adl-torrevieja .es (subsidies and aid).

The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure for granting aid, called "CHILDREN'S BONUS", intended to collaborate, during the 2021/2022 academic year, in the payment of attendance expenses at authorized early childhood education centers in which it is taught. the first cycle of early childhood education, which are not free.

The eligible expenses will only be those corresponding to attendance at the center . In no case will costs derived from the dining room service of the educational center or concepts such as: heating, teaching material, reservation of a place, registration, etc. be subsidized.

It will be granted for a maximum period of 10 months , between September 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 .

Approval of the call, through advance processing, of single payment aid to a vulnerable group due to age and with limited economic resources, annuity 2022 , by the Torrevieja City Council, as well as the specific Bases that must govern it.
