Aid and Subsidies

The purpose of this public call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, under a competitive bidding regime, to support the development of social action programs carried out by non-profit entities, in the Municipality of Torrevieja in the year 2023, in any of its aspects, preventive, assistance, promotional or rehabilitative, in the fields of action contemplated in base III.

The maximum subsidy to be awarded per project and Entity is €90,000.

The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days, counted from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante.

The Governing Council of the Provincial Tourism Board of the Costa Blanca agreed on June 21, 2023 to grant the Torrevieja City Council a subsidy for the promotion of sports tourism of 5,600 euros and thus be able to cover the costs of merchandising of sports tourism activities. in the town.

The Governing Board of the Hon. Provincial Council of Alicante, in an ordinary session on May 22, 2023, has agreed to grant the Torrevieja City Council a grant for the operation of the municipal rhythmic gymnastics school for the 2022/2023 season in the amount of 7,974.32 euros.

By Decree of the Sports Deputy no. 2014, dated May 11, 2023, has arranged to grant the Torrevieja City Council aid for the acquisition of trophies and medals for various sports activities in the 2023 season for an amount of 1,015.38 euros.

Object:
The purpose of these Bases is to regulate the procedure for granting aid, under a competitive concurrence regime, to finance the current tuition, textbooks and transportation expenses for the 2022/2023 academic year of those students who meet the conditions indicated in the Base Fifth.

Requirements:
These aids may be requested by any resident of Torrevieja, who has a maximum age of 35 years and who is studying one of the courses of the Spanish university system adapted to the European Higher Education Area leading to official Bachelor's degrees, or equivalents, and official Master's degree.

The rest of the requirements that the beneficiaries must meet are established in the Fifth Base of the call.

Amount:
The maximum aid to be granted will be up to €1,500.

The indicated amount corresponds to the maximum amount that can be paid to the beneficiary after justification of the expense made. In no case may the amount of aid be greater than the amount of the expenses justified by the beneficiaries.

Submission deadline:
The deadline for submitting aid applications will be 20 business days from the opening of the same. The opening of this period will take place the day after the publication of the extract of this call in the BOP.

Place of presentation:
Applications will be submitted in person at the General Registry of the Torrevieja City Council or electronically through the Electronic Office of the Torrevieja City Council, in attention to the right of natural persons to interact with the administration in the way they wish (electronic format or paper, depending on your preferences).

The object of these bases is the regulation of the call for subsidies under a competitive competition regime, by the Torrevieja City Council, intended for the AMPAS of the municipality of Torrevieja. The support for the activity of the AMPAS aims to influence the promotion of their intervention in the educational field and, in a relevant way, in the integral formation of the students and, therefore, in their school success.

Purpose:
The objectives of this grant are:
-To promote the participation of the associations of mothers and fathers of the students, hereinafter AMPAS, so that they promote, organize and develop various extracurricular activities that result in the improvement of the educational quality of minors.
-Promote in the Torrevieja Primary and Secondary Education centers activities that, from leisure and free time, work on education in values of tolerance, respect, solidarity, coexistence and family co-responsibility, and favor an adequate development of children and adolescents.
-Make the use and enjoyment of school spaces profitable as an alternative resource outside school hours.

Requirements:
The Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students and the Local Delegations of the Provincial Federations of Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students (based in Torrevieja), of public centers may choose to be beneficiaries of the subsidies established in this call. and/or subsidized Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education of the municipality of Torrevieja, which have developed activities, courses, workshops, events or conferences contemplated in these bases, and meet the following requirements:

A) Be legally constituted.
B) Have headquarters, registered office or delegation in Torrevieja.
C) To appear registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and Other Citizen Entities of the Torrevieja City Council, being up to date with the obligations inherent to it, on the date of publication of the extract of the call in the BOP of Alicante (the verification of this requirement is will do ex officio).
D) Having carried out activities, courses, workshops, events or conferences of those contemplated in these bases and within the execution period established in the Fifth Base, contributing and helping the children of Infant and Primary Education and the young people of Education Secondary school in the town to grow as people within their fundamental educational stage.
E) Be up to date, in the case of having previously received subsidies from the Torrevieja City Council, in the fulfillment of the obligations contracted by said concession, as well as the reimbursement of subsidies, as established in article 6, letter q) of the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Town Hall of Torrevieja. This end will be accredited by means of a responsible declaration of the beneficiary, included in Annex I of the application.
F) Not be involved in any of the causes of prohibition contained in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of the LGS. The accreditation of this point will be made by means of a responsible declaration of the beneficiary, included in Annex I of the application.
G) Be up to date in compliance with tax and Social Security obligations, and not have outstanding debts of any nature whose voluntary payment period has expired with the Torrevieja City Council, in accordance with the provisions of article 6 of the General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Town Hall of Torrevieja.

Amount:
The maximum grant to be awarded is 1,500 euros.

Eligible activities and execution period:
The subsidies contained in this call may be subject to the actions organized by the AMPAS that were carried out between September 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023 and are related to the following:
-Activities, courses, workshops and conferences that promote the learning of languages, music, dance, body expression, traditions and painting.
-Activities, courses, workshops and conferences that promote values such as gender equality, solidarity, equal opportunities, civility, road safety education and/or respect for the environment.
-Activities, workshops and conferences that promote sports, outdoor leisure and/or healthy lifestyle habits.
-Information and training activities for families.

The processing will be done electronically. A specific procedure will be created in the electronic headquarters of the Torrevieja City Council .

Object:

The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, under a competitive bidding regime, to finance projects and activities carried out during the past financial year 2022 by the associations and entities that are registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and Other Citizen Entities of the City Council. of Torrevieja, within the scope of Citizen Participation, for the promotion of citizen participation, as well as actions that promote coexistence and the integration of citizens in the socio-cultural life of the population, as well as collaborating in the operating expenses of said entities.

Requirements:

In order to apply for the call for subsidies, Associations and other Entities must meet the following requirements:

a) Be legally constituted.
b) Have headquarters, registered office or delegation in Torrevieja.
c) Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and Other Citizen Entities of the Torrevieja City Council on the date of publication of the extract of the call in the BOP. Said requirement will be verified ex officio by the Citizen Participation area.
d) To have carried out activities or actions in the 2022 annuity included in the purpose of this call, thus contributing to favor the integration and citizen participation, the strengthening and cohesion of the social fabric, the neighborhood associations in our municipality, the revitalization of the collective life of the city and the relationship between neighbors, etc...
e) Be up to date, in the case of having previously received subsidies from the Municipal Corporation, in the fulfillment of the obligations contracted by said concession, as well as the reimbursement of subsidies, as established in art. 6, letter q) of the General Ordinance of subsidies of the City of Torrevieja. This end will be accredited by means of a responsible declaration of the beneficiary.
f) Not be involved in any of the causes of prohibition contained in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of the LGS. The accreditation of not being involved in the prohibitions referred to in this article will be carried out by means of a responsible declaration.
g) Be up to date in compliance with tax and Social Security obligations, and not have outstanding debts of any nature whose voluntary payment term period has expired with the Torrevieja City Council.

Beneficiaries:

The Associations and Entities that have carried out any of the activities or actions included in the purpose of this call will be considered beneficiaries.

Amount:

The maximum subsidy to be awarded per Association is €6,000.

Eligible expenses:

Eligible expenses will be considered those necessary current expenses, directly related to the development and execution of the actions and activities that are part of the project, and have been carried out during the year 2022 and paid until December 31 of said year that are specified in the bases of the summons.
