The 11th edition of the Lafarge Holcim Laying the First Stone Awards is now open. The Award aims to promote and recognize entrepreneurial capacity, sustainability, innovation, talent and business creativity, and allow the launch of innovative projects in the areas of sustainability, innovation, decarbonization, technology, environment or social impact , with real prospects for job creation in the Valencian Community. Therefore, it is aimed mainly at entrepreneurs and/or small companies that are developing or want to develop a new business project.
PARTICIPANTS
The call for this award is directed to any entrepreneur and/or company that has an innovative and sustainable business idea to develop, with tax domicile in the Valencian Community, regardless of whether or not it has started its activity, as long as the project has its implementation in the Valencian Community.
AIM
The proposal must have as its object either the creation and operation of a company with its own legal personality or the execution of the project presented by the competing company. This company will respond to the requested requirements and, in both cases, an idea, product, service, or methodology will be marketed in the fields of sustainability, innovation, decarbonization, technology, environment or social impact.
AWARDS
Two prizes are established: for the first winner of the contest, an amount of nine thousand gross euros (€9,000) , and for the second winner, six thousand gross euros (6,000 €) . Both amounts must be INVESTED IN THE respective winning PROJECT .
PROJECT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: From June 8 to September 30, 2023
