The mayor inaugurates tomorrow the exhibition and presentation of the publication Las Eras de la Sal: origin of a city, which explains the history and studies recently carried out in the Eras

All citizens are invited to this exhibition, with special interest to salt workers, both active and retired.

All attendees will be able to take a tour of the historical complex of Eras de la Sal through the historical evolution of salt exploitation, the historical plans of the monumental complex, the transfer of 1998 to the Torrevieja City Council for public use, the study historical and documentary of the Eras complex and the archaeological intervention for its restoration and new project of the Sea and Salt Museum.

The work carried out both for the exhibition and for the publication that will be presented tomorrow is the work of a commission made up of: Julián Esteban Chapapría, Vicent Esteban Chapapría, Mariano Galant Torregrosa, José Norberto Mazón López and José Fernando Vera Rebollo.

Finally, it should be noted that the publication is an edition of the Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta", and the exhibition is curated by the Department of Exhibitions of the Institute and the University Venue in Torrevieja of the University of Alicante.
