
It consists of 21 large panels that collect the most significant aspects of the life and work of the Orihuela poet. In this way, the viewer advances from his birth in Orihuela, through his home, his passion for the land and its people, the continuous desire to learn and achieve his dream. The viewer meets Josefina, his love, and his eternal friends Vicente Aleixandre, Pablo Neruda or his soul mate Ramón Sijé.
It has images from the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain, the Ministry of Culture, the Miguel Hernández Cultural Foundation, the Orihuela City Council, Cristóbal Aguilar and Nuevecomanueve, in addition to texts written by the director of the Miguel Hernández House Museum, Tomás Serna Pérez and some of Hernández's best-known poems.
The sample, subsidized by the Diputación de Alicante, has a voluntary and markedly didactic character, which in this case is joined by the ADIEM Foundation together with the Department of Culture of Torrevieja, to bring the figure of the illustrious poet closer to schoolchildren and the public. usually.
The objective of the ADIEM Foundation, coinciding with its 25th Anniversary, is to unite culture and mental health, understanding any artistic expression as a vehicle to communicate, relate, get to know each other and promote mental health. The example of overcoming and commitment of Miguel Hernández for his life project and his dream linked to poetry, as shown in the exhibition, is one more reason that inspires the ADIEM Foundation to continue promoting its work for happiness and mental health of the citizens of Torrevieja.
