Groups from Sax, Mutxamel and Alicante will participate in this edition, closing the day the Unión Musical Torrevejense

The Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta", through the delegate councilor, José Antonio Quesada, reports on the celebration of the third day of the XLIX Provincial Contest of Music Bands that will take place this Sunday, November 14 at Paseo Vista Alegre. The development of this contest, in which bands of both 1st category and 2nd category will participate, is the result of collaboration between the Alicante Provincial Council and the Municipal Institute of Culture.
In this 49th edition, the first category band Unión Musical y Artística de Sax will participate, and the second category bands: Unión Musical Ciudad de Asís (Alicante), Societat musical l'Alicança de Mutxamel and the Harmonica Societat musical d'Alacant. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Paseo Vista Alegre will host the musicians participating in this contest that will have as a finishing touch the participation of the Torrevejense Musical Union .
For the correct harmonious and logistical development of the event, the streets surrounding Paseo Vista Alegre will remain closed to traffic to reduce noise pollution that vehicles may cause. The closing will take place between 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the morning shift, and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the afternoon shift.
