The Torrevieja City Council has scheduled several activities to commemorate the International Day of the Elderly, which will end with a tribute to our elders on October 1, at 7:30 p.m., in the Municipal Theater, in which the Academy will participate. QK de La Mata, Victoria Martínez and Grupo Noray. In addition, in this act of tribute the prizes of the Photography Contest organized by the Department of Older People, directed by the mayor Inmaculada Montesinos, will be awarded.
The City Council has organized three workshops to commemorate this Day, which will take place in the Parque de las Naciones:
-Tuesday, September 28, Yoga Workshop.
-Wednesday, September 29, Ceramic Workshop.
-Thursday, September 30, Online Dance Workshop.
Tickets for the Municipal Theater event and registration for workshops can be collected at the Department of Greater People.
Finally, Inmaculada Montesinos has reported that the two coffee shops that are yet to be awarded in the houses of the Third Age of Pedro Lorca and San Pascual have already gone out to tender, which were deserted in their day. The deadline for submitting bids is one month and the award period is seven years.
The other three cafeterias (Acequión Third Age House, La Mata Polivalente and Centro Municipal de Ocio) have already been awarded.
