From August 13 to 27, all persons registered in Torrevieja, over 16 years of age, as well as any entity, association, foundation, etc. may present relevant proposals of general interest

The Councilor for Innovation, Ricardo Recuero, and the Councilor for Finance, Domingo Paredes, have presented the 2022 participatory budgets “You propose, your City Council does it”, where all people over 16 years of age who are registered in Torrevieja can participate, as well as well as entities, associations, foundations, professional associations, among others. The deadline for submission begins tomorrow, August 13, until next Friday, August 27, where interested parties may submit relevant proposals of general interest, city or district level, whose content is not illegal, defamatory or discriminatory.
The presentation will be made through the Torrevieja City Council website ( www.torrevieja.es ) in the section “Participatory Budgets 2022”. Once the proposal has been submitted and the form completed, participants will receive an email confirming that the proposal has been received.
The mayor of the Treasury has reported that on August 27 all the proposals submitted through the form will be collected, and later all of them will be made public and that it will be the municipal technicians who study, assess and decide which are viable and which are not. Likewise, the proposals and initiatives most requested by the residents of Torrevieja, which are viable, will be those that can be incorporated into the 2022 Municipal Budget project.
Finally, the Councilor for Innovation has invited all citizens to participate, as in previous editions, hoping that there will be great citizen participation and that they will be involved in the preparation of the Torrevieja City Council's budgets.
