Torrevieja will celebrate the next 15 and 16 August a series of activities that are part of the "Summer Carnival", which has been presented by the Councilor for Festivities, Concha Sala, and the president of the Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association, Francisco Pizana.

The mayor of Fiestas has highlighted that "after the Torrevieja carnival has celebrated the recent declaration of a festival of Autonomous Tourist Interest of the Valencian Community, it is intended to offer a sample of our parties in summer for Torrevieja residents and for all visitors who are days they share their vacations in our city ”.
It is a series of events that will be held inside the historic area of the Eras de la Sal on August 15 and 16, with free admission with invitation until full capacity is reached, which can be withdrawn at the Municipal Theater box office.
The president of the Carnival association has related the program that will begin on Sunday, August 15, with the exhibition of choreographies of comparsas, seven of them having registered so far. Also this day will be screened the summary film of the last carnival that was held in the streets of Torrevieja, in 2019. On Monday, August 16, there will be a performance by the local chirigota "Los Sangochaos" and also with the show of the actor, singer and drag queen, “Nacha la Macha”.
The venue will open its doors at 7:30 p.m., making the carnival association available to all attendees a restaurant area with all hygienic-sanitary measures. The shows will start at 9:30 p.m. In the two days the carnival association will hold a raffle to raise funds for its purposes.
